UNBI: PSPPA Students Successfully Hold Community Service with Health Checks, Blood Donations, and Environmental Education
Students of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program (PSPPA) of Bali International University (UNBI) carry out community service activities as a form of real contribution in improving the degree of public health. Activities include health safaris in the form of simple health checks for residents.
In addition, students also organize blood donor activities as a form of concern for others and efforts to help the availability of blood stocks. In the environmental field, mangrove visits are carried out which are filled with education and mangrove planting to increase awareness of the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems.
Not only that, students also carry out branding activities for the pharmacist profession to the high school level through socialization and introduction to the role of pharmacists, so as to increase students' understanding and interest in the world of pharmacy.
With a communicative and interactive approach, students provide information that is easy to understand so that people are wiser in using drugs.
Through this activity, it is hoped that a good relationship between pharmaceutical workers and the community will be established and awareness of the importance of safe and appropriate drug use will increase.
