Strengthening Academic Alliance, UNBI & UNPAS aim for big opportunities in national tourism business
Denpasar - In the midst of global competition and the transformation of the tourism industry, the University of Bali International (UNBI) Business Administration Study Program took a strategic step by strengthening academic networks through collaboration with the University of Pasundan (UNPAS) Business Administration Study Program.
This activity is not just an academic forum, but is part of the UNBI Business Administration Study Program's grand strategy in building an educational ecosystem that is collaborative, adaptive, and in line with industry needs, especially the tourism sector which is the backbone of the national economy.
The peak of the activity was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Agreement (IA) between the two study programs. This agreement opens up opportunities for continued collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service, while expanding student access to cross-campus learning experiences.
In his remarks, the Coordinator of the UNBI Business Administration Study Program emphasized that strengthening academic networks is a crucial step in creating graduates who are not only theoretically superior, but also have a broad perspective and readiness to face real industry challenges.
The "Joint Lecture" session presented speakers from both institutions who comprehensively discussed the dynamics and prospects of the tourism business in Indonesia, from growth opportunities to challenges due to changing global trends and digitalization.

The interactive discussion that took place showed the high enthusiasm of students in understanding strategic issues in the tourism sector, as well as strengthening the role of universities as centers of science development and innovation.
This step is expected to be a strong foundation in producing graduates who are not only job-ready, but also able to become the main driver in the development of Indonesia's tourism business in the future.
