Equipping Students to Enter the World of Work, UNBI Psychology Study Program Holds Sharing Session with Industry Practitioners

DENPASAR - Psychology Study Program of Bali International University (UNBI) held a special sharing session for 4th semester students on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Located in the UNBI campus environment, this activity presents expert practitioners to thoroughly explore the application of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (PIO) in the real world of work.

The event which started at 09.00 WITA presented two competent speakers, namely I Gde Jadendra Kusuma, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist from Pradnyagama, and Komang Diah Laxmy Prabadewi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist from Kura-Kura Bali. The presence of these practitioners aims to provide a concrete picture of what skills a Bachelor of Psychology graduate must have in order to be able to compete in the industrial sector.

During the session, the class atmosphere seemed lively and interactive. Not only listening to theory, the students were directly involved in simulations and in-depth discussions related to organizational communication material. In addition, they were also invited to dissect the employee recruitment and selection process - two important pillars that are the daily food of HRD practitioners.

Through this activity, it is hoped that UNBI 4th semester students will not only excel academically, but also have mental readiness and practical insights before going directly to the community as professionals.
