Improve Fundamental Competence of Informatics, UNBI Informatics Study Program Holds Field Learning Practices at Timedoor Academy
DENPASAR - The Informatics Study Program of the University of Bali International (UNBI) continues to show its commitment in producing graduates who are work-ready and relevant to industry needs. This was proven through the Field Learning Practice (PBL) activity held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Timedoor Academy Office, Denpasar.
This activity was attended by students accompanied by accompanying lecturers from the UNBI Informatics Study Program. The strategic collaboration with Timedoor Academy, a renowned technology education institution, aims to provide direct exposure to students regarding the real work ecosystem in the field of software development and IT education.
The Head of the UNBI Informatics Study Program, Ni Kadek Winda Patrianingsih, S.Kom., M.Kom. said that this activity was part of the university's big vision in implementing adaptive learning methods. "We at UNBI Informatics strongly promote the principle that learning does not always have to be in the classroom. Students need to see, feel, and practice their knowledge directly outside the classroom in order to have a sharp industry insight before they graduate," he said.
During the visit, students received sharing sessions on the latest technology trends, digital project management, and demonstrations of technical skills needed by today's global market.
Through this PBL, students are expected to not only excel academically on paper, but also have practical hand-on skills which are the main provisions in pursuing a career as an IT professional in the future. This collaboration also strengthens the network between academia and industry to continue to synergize in building a digital ecosystem in Bali.
